Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is continuing to break records here in his breakout 2022 season.
On Saturday, with his second touchdown catch against Kentucky, Jalin Hyatt officially broke the single-season Tennessee receiving touchdown record.
Hyatt’s two touchdown catches on Saturday put him at 14 in total on the season. The Tennessee junior passes Marcus Nash, who had 13 touchdown receptions over the course of the 1997 season.

In reality, the most incredible aspect of Hyatt’s record-breaking statistic is that there are still four more regular season games for the Tennessee wideout to continue to add to his numbers. At this pace, Hyatt could even get that number all the way up to 20 if things continue to go his way.
Here is how Hyatt’s numbers have broken down through the first nine weeks of the season:
Ball State – 2 receptions, 28 yards, 1 touchdown
Pittsburgh – 11 receptions, 73 yards, 0 touchdowns
Akron – 5 receptions, 166 yards, 2 touchdowns
Florida – 5 receptions, 58 yards, 0 touchdowns
LSU – 4 receptions, 63 yards, 2 touchdowns
Alabama – 6 receptions, 207 yards, 5 touchdowns
UT Martin – 7 receptions, 174 yards, 2 touchdowns
Kentucky – 5 receptions, 138 yards, 2 touchdowns
