PFF Grades: UT Martin At Tennessee

Tennessee remained unbeaten on the season, dominating UT Martin, 65-24, on homecoming Saturday afternoon.

The Vols scored 52 first half points — it’s most in program history — before coasting to the victory.

Let’s start with the grades of a couple players who didn’t quite meet the snap limit. Jackson Lampley earned a 71.0 grade in 24 plays, Jaylen Wright earned a 55.8 grade in 21 plays and RT RJ Perry earned a 55.3 grade in 24 plays.

While it wasn’t surprising, it was funny to see Tennessee’s four highest graded offensive players be the starting quarterback and slot receiver and the back up quarterback and slot receiver.

Jeremiah Crawford and Darnell Wright graded out as Tennessee’s highest offensive linemen as they both continue to play strong football.

An abundance of Tennessee defensive starters didn’t even play 23 snaps. Here’s how they graded out. Tyler Baron earned a 91.5 grade in 18 plays, Tamarion McDonald earned a 73.3 grade in 19 plays, Omari Thomas earned a 71.5 grade in 12 plays and Jeremy Banks earned a 64.1 grade in 22 plays.

Talented freshman defensive lineman Tyre West and Joshua Josephs both had strong performances.

Seniors Aaron Beasley and Roman Harrison continued their strong seasons with a good showing against UT Martin.
