Super Bowl LVI Preview: The Rams (-4) Have Value
Two-time Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning is back at it again. While most viewers suspect Manning to be in the Super Bowl commercial lineup to some degree, many likely weren’t predicting the sheer number of superstars that would be tied in with Manning.
While teaming up with Michelob, Tennessee football legend and Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning turned the Super Bowl into the Superior Bowl.
The commercial starts out with Manning saying hello to actor Steve Buscemi, who likely knows a thing or two about the bowling alley from his days spent with “The Dude”.
Then comes a parade of superstar athletes: PGA Tour golfer Brooks Koepka shooting pool, Heat guard Jimmy Butler likely singing Taylor Swift at the karaoke machine, WNBA superstar Nneka Ogwumike lacing up her shoes, and soccer legend Alex Morgan enjoying a refreshing beer.
However, by the end of the video, Manning is joined by true sports royalty as Serena Williams enters the building with Manning in awe in the final shot.
According to a press release tied to the commercial, Michelob’s mission is to “highlight gender equality in sports.” Additionally, according to NBC Universal, the company has sold all of the ad space for the Super Bowl broadcast on Sunday.
While Peyton Manning was the star of the commercial for Sunday, Michelob will also be releasing a series of shorter advertisements during the Big Game, which can be seen below.
