The top-ranked wide receiver from the state of Tennessee in the class of 2023, Adarius Redmond, released his official Top 5 on Friday night. Redmond is a member of the Powell High School football team, based right outside of Knoxville, and recently won the Tennessee 5A State Championship with the Panthers in December.
Redmond’s Top 5 consists of Tennessee, Florida, Penn State, Georgia, and LSU. The list is officially down to five as Redmond has taken in 12 offers before the start of his senior season.
Four-star wide receiver Adarius Redmond is currently ranked as the top wide receiver in the state of Tennessee by ESPN’s recruiting services. Additionally, Redmond is ranked as the 51st overall player in ESPN’s databases. According to 247 Sports, Redmond is the 23rd ranked wide receiver in the class and the third-ranked player in the state of Tennessee.

During his junior campaign, Redmond had a total of 54 receptions, 990 yards, and seven touchdowns. In the Panthers’ state championship victory over Page High School, Redmond was instrumental in helping lead Powell to a win. The junior wide receiver had six receptions for 149 yards and a touchdown.
Standing at 6-foot-1 with a weight of 185 pounds, Redmond is a lengthy receiver that has used his size to his advantage.
Currently, Tennessee’s 2023 class has two commits already. The Vols had a commitment from three-star safety Jack Luttrell back in July and recently welcomed in a commitment from four-star tight end Ethan Davis. If Davis was in the Vols’ class of 2022, he would be the second-highest recruit in the Tennessee class. Tennessee’s 2023 class is ranked as the fifth class in the SEC at this early point in the 2023 timeline.
In February, Redmond accepted an invitation to the 2023 All-American Bowl. The top offensive commit in Tennessee’s 2022 class, offensive lineman Addison Nichols, will be representing the Vols in the 2022 All-American bowl this year.
Powell High School four-star wide receiver Adarius Redmond, from the 2023 class, listed Tennessee, Florida, Penn State, Georgia, and LSU as his official Top 5.
