Tennessee is wearing white helmets, white jerseys and orange pants for its matchup at No. 18 Kentucky Saturday night in Lexington.

The Vols are 0-1 in games wearing its white jerseys and orange pants, losing at Florida 38-14 in September. Tennessee is 2-0 in its classic home jerseys this season, 0-2 in its all orange uniforms, 1-0 in its “dark mode” alternates and 1-1 in its all white uniforms.

Kentucky has yet to announce its uniforms for the 7 p.m. matchup.

Tennessee (4-4, 2-3 SEC) is looking for its first win over a top 25 team in the Josh Heupel era. The Wildcats jumped out to a 6-0 record to start the year before dropping their last two games at Georgia dn Mississippi State.

“Huge week here obviously, as we push forward to Kentucky,” Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel said. “Good football team. They play extremely well at home. Huge test for us to go on the road, night ball game. Should be a great environment, one that our kids are looking forward to.”

Kentucky won last season’s matchup between the border rivals but Tennessee has won eight of the last 10 games in the series.

Tennessee and Kentucky kick off at 7 p.m. ET at Kroger Field. ESPN2 is broadcasting the game.
