Tennessee football is wearing it all white, stormtrooper uniforms for its week eight road trip to Missouri, the Vols announced on Twitter Thursday night.

Tennessee has worn its all white uniforms once this season, in a 62-24 win at Missouri at the start of October.

The Vols are currently 1-0 in their all white uniforms, 1-0 in their “dark mode” black uniforms, 2-0 in their classic home uniforms, 0-1 in their white jerseys and orange pants and 0-2 in their all orange uniforms.

As always, Alabama will wear its classic home uniforms with crimson jerseys and helmets and white pants.

Tennessee is looking to bounce back from its heartbreaking week seven loss to Ole Miss. The Crimson Tide is looking to continue their bounce back ways. Alabama lost to Texas A&M two weeks ago before dominating Mississippi State, 49-9.

“It’s a huge opponent,” Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel said. “They’re a really good football team and it’s a rivalry game—one that our guys and staff will be extremely excited about being ready for and going down to Tuscaloosa and competing against a really good football team. It starts with their quarterback. He’s a super-efficient playmaker. He’s got dynamic playmakers around him. Defensively, obviously front to back, they’re really good. They’re athletic, have the ability to rush the passer. They can do that with pressures and can do that with just their front four. They’ve got good cover guys on the backend. It’s a big test for us and one that we’re excited about.”

The status of several key Tennessee players including Hendon Hooker, Tiyon Evans, Cooper Mays, Cade Mays and Elijah Simmons is still up in the air.
