Former 2021 four-star recruit and Tennessee quarterback Kaidon Salter has announced his transfer destination, as he is officially headed to unite with Hugh Freeze at Liberty. Salter’s announcement came via a Twitter post by On3Sports.
Salter was dismissed from the Tennessee football team on June 24 after he was arrested and charged with simple possession and driving without a license.
Prior to that incident on Saturday, June 19, Salter was suspended from the team after an incident occurred at Stokely Hall in March.

Although his name was concealed originally, Salter was among the group of football players charged in this incident. This was because Salter was only a minor at the time of the incident.
At the time, Martavius French, Aaron Willis, and Issac Washington were also among those charged in the incident. French and Washington eventually entered the transfer portal, meanwhile, Willis did return to the team.
