Jerideau joined the Tennessee strength staff under Craig Fitzgerald in 2018, the first season of Jeremy Pruitt’s tenure in Knoxville. After Fitzgerald took the New York Giants strength and conditioning job following the 2019 season, Jerideau remained on staff as AJ Artis took over as head strength coach.
Prior to arriving in Knoxville, Jerideau was an assistant strength coach at South Carolina for two seasons. He also assisted with recruiting and worked closely with the Gamecocks defensive line unit. Jerideau played football for the Gamecocks after beginning his football career at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas. He helped lead the Greyhounds to an 11-1 record and national championship as he totaled 16 tackles for a loss and block five field goals.
Jerideau made 57 career tackles during his time at South Carolina, including eight tackles for loss and six sacks. He played in the 2013 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and played for the San Diego Chargers in 2013 to finish out his football career.
His career in strength and conditioning began when he accepted a role as a strength and conditioning intern for football at the University of Houston in the spring of 2015. He then spent the 2015 season as an assistant strength coach for football at Appalachian State.
Jerideau joins Shane Beamer’s initial coaching staff at South Carolina after Beamer left Oklahoma to replace Will Muschamp. Beamer hired Luke Day as his head strength coach over the weekend. Jerideau will work under Day, who leaves Marshall to take the job with the Gamecocks.
