Draftkings TN Sports Betting Partnership with Nashville Predators

Today, DraftKings Sportsbook and the Nashville Predators NHL franchise announced a multi-year partnership. The deal makes Draftkings the official Daily Fantasy Sports Operator and an official sports betting partner of the Nashville Predators.

The partnership announcement follows DraftKings’ launch in the Volunteer State.

Partnership Details

The DraftKings-Predators team-up includes a number of benefits for both parties. DraftKings branding and content will be displayed in Bridgestone Arena. DraftKings will also have signage on the Lexus Lounge LED screen for all Predators home games.

DraftKings’ betting lines will be showcased in pre-game and live radio coverage as well.

DraftKings and the Nashville Predators will also work together on digital and social media initiatives, including Predators homepage takeovers, giveaways, and a “regular presence” in the Predators newsletter.

DraftKings And Tennessee Sports Betting

DraftKings is live with sports betting in some form–retail or online–in 12 states. The Tennessee sports betting app was one of DraftKings’ most recent launches. Draftkings will soon launch sports betting in Virginia and Michigan.

Sports betting became legal in Tennessee in May 2019, but regulations weren’t finalized until later in 2020. On November 1, the Tennessee sports betting market officially went live, and DraftKings joined the fray alongside FanDuel and BetMGM. Tennessee Action 24/7 also went live in the state, giving the big names some local competition.

Right now, users in Tennessee can claim up to $1,000 as part of DraftKings’ 20% first deposit match bonus. The promotion requires a 25x playthrough on bonus credit. Despite the hefty requirement, this remains one of the most valuable bonuses in the sports betting industry.

Tennessee is a unique sportsbook market in that it allows online-only operators. There are no casinos in the state, so the land-based license tether model that works elsewhere isn’t viable for the state. As a result, Tennessee is expected to be a highly competitive online sports betting market.

This DraftKings-Predators partnership, plus FanDuel’s deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, indicates that sports betting operators are looking to make a huge splash in the Volunteer State.
