Tennessee’s main training facility is getting a pretty cool upgrade to the locker rooms in the near future.
On Monday afternoon, Tennessee unveiled a state-of-the-art locker that will soon find its way into the Anderson Training Center locker rooms on UT’s campus. The locker shown in the reveal video features a panel of Jauan Jennings backlit by a light at the top of the locker, a storage shelf for the player’s helmet, a seating area, and storage compartments. Presumably, the lockers in the Anderson Training Center will have photos of each individual UT player or will feature a Tennessee graphic in some way. Each player will have their own such locker.

The unveiling took place at the AFCA Convention in Nashville, TN on Monday afternoon. The lockers are designed and created by Longhorn Lockers, which is based out of Venus, Texas. They’ve created lockers for several major schools, such as Mississippi State, Arkansas, North Carolina, Cal, Utah State, and others.
Tennessee is expected to make several additions to their training facilities, as detailed in the updated plans for renovations for Neyland Stadium and UT’s facilities.
“I’ve asked our administration to help us enhance what we do to support the well-being of our student-athletes, and these upgrades deliver the very best for our players,” Tennessee head football coach Jeremy Pruitt said via a release back in November. “The spaces we’re creating enable Tennessee to stay on the leading edge from a facility and support standpoint. It’s exciting, and I appreciate the time and effort that Coach Fulmer and his staff have dedicated to this critical piece.”
The early plans also call for the development of a state-of-the-art recovery area, a new players’ lounge, and additional square footage for football program use in the Anderson Training Center.
