Jeremy Pruitt Breaks Down Vols’ Early Signing Class

Tennessee landed several of its top targets on the first day of the early signing period on Wednesday. The Vols inked 21 signatures in total throughout the day, adding five new commits to the prospects who were already committed to the Vols’ 2020 class prior to Wednesday.

Four-star edge rusher Tyler Baron, four-star pass rusher Morven Joseph, four-star running back Len’Neth Whitehead, three-star quarterback Jimmy Holiday, and three-star defensive lineman Reginald Perry were all new additions to Tennessee’s class.

Of the 18 players who were previously committed to the Vols before the day began, 16 signed with UT. The only two commits who did not sign were three-star athlete Darion Williamson and three-star offensive guard Kyree Miller. The two aren’t expected to sign with the Vols this week. Whether or not the two sign in February is unclear.
