Tennessee’s victory celebration over Vanderbilt had been a long time coming, especially for one particular wide receiver on the roster.
The Vols defeated in-state foe Vanderbilt on Saturday night, prevailing 28-10 in the rain. The victory snapped the Commodores’ three-game winning streak over Tennessee, giving UT their first win over Vandy since 2015.
After the game, Tennessee’s players celebrated all over the field in Neyland Stadium, and Jauan Jennings especially soaked in the atmosphere.
Jennings, a redshirt senior who is from Murfreesboro, TN less than an hour away from Nashville, got only his second win in five years against Vanderbilt, and Saturday was also his final game playing in front of Tennessee’s home crowd. He took a victory lap around the stadium and made sure to high five as many fans as he could along the way.

He wasn’t the only Vol who enjoyed the win, though.
In our video of Tennessee’s post-game celebrations, you can hear several Vol players trash talking Vanderbilt and taking joy in the Commodores’ demise. Included in the full video is Jennings’ trot around the stadium.
