On Tuesday, Memphis head basketball coach Penny Hardaway had some very strong words for Tennessee head basketball coach Rick Barnes.

After the Vols’ 102-92 defeat of the Tigers on Saturday, Hardaway took exception to Barnes’ accusations that his team was “flopping” in order to pick up fouls during his Tuesday press conference. He called Barnes “low class” for his comments about that and his joke about Hardaway’s assertions that UT’s players were looking to fight Tigers’ players late in the game.

“I don’t know who Rick Barnes thinks I am, but I’m not a dude that’s going to mess around about anything,” Hardaway said on Tuesday. “I just call it like I see it. No matter how he’s trying to make things seem, and I think its kind of low class how he’s trying to downgrade my guys for flopping and all that.

“Man, come on, give me a break.”

Hardaway would go on to say that he doesn’t teach his players to flop and claimed “we don’t even understand that term,”

Well, a Vol fan decided to have some fun at Hardaway’s expense.

A fan who runs the Twitter account @gmannVOLS put together a hilarious video with the song “Hound Dog” by Elvis Presley playing in the background behind Hardaway’s Tuesday press conference. Spliced between those comments are various video clips from Tennessee’s game against Memphis on Saturday.
