Another Updated Offensive Coordinator Hot Board

With the report coming out on Wednesday that Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt is likely not making a hire at offensive coordinator till after the early signing period in recruiting, it’s time to reset the list of candidates once again.

Several of UT’s original candidates — such as Hugh Freeze, Chip Lindsey, and Dan Enos — have taken different jobs or been promoted at their respective schools. It would appear that Tennessee’s candidate pool is shrinking, but there are still a decent amount of names out there to consider.

Pruitt is likely looking for a proven recruiter and someone who has a strong history of proven play-calling. Whether that’s someone already working for an SEC or Power Five school or an NFL coach, that remains to be seen.

Here’s an updated look at who Tennessee is likely to target once they resume their search for an offensive coordinator.
