Thanks to a new rule passed by the NCAA prior to the start of the 2018 season, collegiate football players can now play in up to four games in a season and still preserve their redshirt status. This is huge, as it means a player thrust into playing time for a few games because of an injury to a starter or key backup can now still redshirt even after playing in a handful of games.

Tennessee took advantage of this new rule with several players on their roster this season. Up to 13 different scholarship players on the Vols’ roster retained their redshirt eligibility this season, and they should all get their redshirts should they stay on Tennessee’s roster moving forward.

Here are all the players on UT’s roster who can get a redshirt for their 2018 season.
