Tennessee’s coaches are going on a full court press to land some highly-rated prospects in the 2018 recruiting class. And on Monday, some of the Vols’ coaches paid in-home visits to two of Tennessee’s top remaining targets.
Cornerbacks coach Terry Fair visited Isaac Taylor-Stuart, one of the top corners in the 2018 class, on Monday night. Taylor-Stuart is set to visit the Vols himself this upcoming weekend during the last official visiting weekend prior to National Signing Day.

Taylor-Stuart is a 6-foot-2, 187 pound corner out of San Diego, California who holds offers from nearly every top school in college football. He has offers from over four dozen schools including Alabama, USC, Texas A&M, Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, Michigan, Ohio State, and many more.
The Vols offered Taylor-Stuart on December 9th, just two days after Jeremy Pruitt was named head coach. Tennessee has made Taylor-Stuart a priority ever since, and the No. 4 corner in the 2018 class (according to the 247Sports Composite rankings) has been interested in the Vols since then as well.
Taylor-Stuart has already visited USC, Georgia, and Alabama. The Vols will receive his final official visit of the 2018 cycle.
Tennessee also visited four-star running back Jashan Corbin on Monday night, and the Vols sent out a contingent of coaches to see him. Head coach Jeremy Pruitt was joined by offensive coordinator Tyson Helton and running backs coach Robert Gillespie during Corbin’s in-home visit on Monday night. Corbin is also set to visit the Vols this upcoming weekend.

Corbin recently released his top three finalists in his recruitment, and the Vols made the cut along with Texas A&M and TCU.
The four-star running back was once committed to Tennessee, albeit very briefly. Corbin committed to the Vols after the Orange and White Game in April of 2017, but then he decommitted not even a month later in mid-May. Then just a couple days later, Corbin committed to Florida State.
The Seminoles held Corbin’s commitment for several months. Then they made a coaching change, and Corbin re-opened his recruitment on December 3rd. Since then, Corbin has picked up offers from TCU, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, Arkansas, and Texas.
Corbin is rated as the No. 8 all-purpose back in the 2018 class by the 247Sports Composite rankings and is the No. 261 overall player in the cycle. He was also on our list of the top five players the Vols need to land in the 2018 class.
Tennessee currently has 14 signees and five commits in their 2018 class. Three-star/four-star running back Jeremy Banks signed in the early signing period, and three-star Anthony Grant is currently committed to the Vols at running back, but Gran’ts commitment is rather tenuous. The Vols would love to be able to add Corbin to their class.
