Monday night Jeremy Pruitt won a National Championship as the defensive coordinator of Alabama. Tuesday morning he was in the office in Knoxville, this time for good, as recruiting prepares to rev back up on Friday.

This weekend will be an exciting one for the Vols, as several big names across the 2018, 2019, and even 2020 classes will all be in Knoxville visiting the university and familiarizing themselves with the new coaching staff.
Earlier this week, I wrote that four 2019 teammates from Grayson High school in Loganville, GA will be visiting this weekend. Now it’s been confirmed that two more elite 2019 players from the same high school will be in attendance this weekend as well.
Kenyon Jackson will be joining several of his teammates as they visit the Vols this upcoming weekend. The 6-foot-5 wide receiver is a composite four-star per 247Sports. He is ranked as the 43rd-best receiver in the 2019 class. He was once committed to LSU but decommitted on September 13th and has picked up a multitude of offers since then. He was close with Willie Taggart when he was the head coach at Oregon, and once he was named the head coach at Florida State, the Seminoles became the favorite to land Jackson. He doesn’t currently hold an offer from the Vols, but it isn’t a stretch to think one may be coming soon.
He may even pick up an offer this upcoming weekend.
Kevin Harris is the sixth Grayson Ram that will be making the trek to Knoxville this weekend. He is an incredible edge pass rusher, something that Pruitt covets a great deal in his 3-4 defensive scheme. Harris is a four-star linebacker and is the 6th ranked outside linebacker in the 2019 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. They also have him ranked as a top-100 overall player in the class.
Harris is a freak athlete, clocking a 4.5 40-yard dash time while measuring in at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds. Every school in the country is after him, and Clemson and Georgia are currently seen as the favorites to pick up his commitment. Tennessee offered him back in April, and they will try to reassert themselves in the race for his pledge when he visits this weekend.
Plenty of elite prospects will be visiting this weekend, and the six teammates from Loganville, GA will definitely be priorities. All of them are four stars or better and would be great additions to the class. If anymore of their teammates decide to join them this weekend, they might need to take a school bus up to Knoxville.
