Jeremy Pruitt added two assistants to his Tennessee staff on Friday when he hired a strength and conditioning coach then hired a director of player personnel as well. But he wasn’t done making additions to his staff this weekend, as he added another assistant on Saturday.

Pruitt has hired Tino Sunseri as an offensive quality control assistant. Sunseri tweeted out the confirmation himself from his personal Twitter account.

Sunseri, who is the son of former Vol defensive coordinator and current Florida defensive line coach Sal Sunseri, had served as the quality control assistant on offense for quarterbacks with Florida State the past two years.

Toni played quarterback for Pittsburgh in college from 2009-12 and completed 64.5 percent of his passes for 8,590 yards, 49 touchdowns, and 23 interceptions. He went on to play quarterback in the CFL for the Saskatchewan Roughriders from 2013-15. Sunseri holds a rather unconventional record during his CFL days, as he’s the only player in professional sports history (NFL and CFL) to be responsible for converting three two-point conversions in a single game.
