Now that the early signing period has passed, Jeremy Pruitt’s staff can focus their complete attention to the rest of the 2018 class, as well as future recruiting classes. Even though Pruitt has been busy helping Alabama prepare for their playoff game against Clemson, he has still been recruiting hard for the Volunteers. And he trusts his staff to handle recruiting affairs as well.
The 2018 class still has plenty of work to be done, but the coaches are attempting to land a strong class in 2019 and beyond too. They have extended offers to several prospects in the past week, including an elite pair of teammates from De La Salle High school in California. One of those is 2019 TE Isaiah Foskey. The prospect announced the offer on his twitter Friday night.

Foskey is currently a composite four-star prospect according to 247Sports, but he is close to being rated as a five-star and is a top-100 overall player in the class of 2019. He is from Concord, CA and plays for De La Salle High School, one of the top high schools in the country.
Currently, he hold offers from 14 schools, including USC, Alabama, and Stanford. Stanford is currently seen as the favorite to land him.
Foskey is 6-foot-5, 226 pounds but still runs a 4.9 40 yard dash and has a 30.6 inch vertical. A look at his film shows an athletic player with a quick first step. He is a good route runner and performs well after the catch. He is very capable of putting his hand in the dirt and getting physical when run blocking and shows the aggression it takes to compete at the college level. He will need to get stronger in order to compete in the SEC, and sometimes he shows a tendency to block on his toes. But he has all the tools to be a special player in years to come.
The other prospect is five-star linebacker Henry To’oto’o, Foskey’s teammate at De La Salle. Tennessee became the 13th team to extend an offer to the talented linebacker, joining the likes of Alabama, Michigan and Notre Dame. He tweeted out the offer on Christmas Day.

To’oto’o is listed as an outside linebacker, and he could make an excellent edge player in college. In high school, he has played both inside and outside linebacker, and he’s excelled at both. He possesses everything you could ask for in a future SEC linebacker. He shows elite quickness, closes down space with ease, and also plays running back for De La Salle. He is a very instinctual player that rarely misses tackles. He is able to strike fear in opposing quarterbacks, exemplifying elite blitz tempo while consistently disrupting the passer. At 6-foot-2 210 pounds, he is, however, on the smaller side and will need to put on weight to have sustained success in the SEC.
It won’t be easy to pluck either prospect out of California, but they are both incredibly talented players who play at positions that Pruitt values highly on both sides of the ball.
