With the news coming down Thursday morning that Tennessee Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Dave Hart will be retiring from his post on June 30, 2017, it’s time to think about what is next for the Vols.
The advance notice from Hart gives UT ample time to conduct a broad search to find its next AD.
And that time may be needed to look around the nation. Or it might be as simple as bringing somebody back home or looking just down the road. Here are some early names to keep in mind as Tennessee conducts its search.
