Tennessee newcomer Jocquez Bruce was reportedly suspended today for “not applying (him)self off the field”:

Bruce was a three-star athlete recruit from Knoxville and was a part of the Vols’ 4th-ranked 2015 recruiting class. Though he’s been working as a receiver since arriving on campus, he was most notably responsible for this monster hit in high school:
Further details are yet to be released about the situation, and Tennessee has not confirmed the news.
The suspension sends a stout message to the rest of Tennessee’s young players that anything less than a 100% effort will not be tolerated. Potentially Bruce can correct his mistakes and get himself back in the rotation and if he can reproduce effort like he showed on his tackles like the one in the video above, Tennessee could certainly use his talents at receiver.
