Tennessee commitments quarterback Jarrett Guarantano and cornerback Marquill Osborne posted impressive testing numbers at The Opening, which is being held at the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Ore., this week.
Guarantano led all QBs at the event with a cumulative Nike rating of 120.06 – coming in 25th overall. Osborne came in a few slots behind him, finishing 32nd overall and 10th among players listed as a defensive back at the event. Osborne was especially impressive in the 40-yard dash, clocking a true 4.42 laser-timed 40 – one of the faster times on the day.
Several other top Vol targets were impressive as well. Cornerback Nigel Knott finished third overall with a score of 141.66, receiver Mecole Hardman came in eighth with a 134.07 and receiver Kyle Davis finished 18th with a 125.49.
