Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the Rocky Top Insider team!
With many of the players and athletes home for the holidays, the social media accounts for each sport have been sure to share some holiday cheer on Wednesday morning.
Kim Caldwell’s Lady Vols will be the first Tennessee team back in action after the Christmas break with a home game against Winthrop on Dec. 29 at 2:00 p.m. ET in Knoxville. Rick Barnes’ Volunteers will return to the court at 3:00 p.m. ET on Dec. 31 at Norfolk State.
The No. 1 Vols are undefeated at 11-0 while the No. 15 Lady Vols are undefeated at 11-0. Tennessee is the only D1 program in the country with both basketball teams still undefeated.
