Tennessee hit the practice field on Tuesday morning in Knoxville as the Vols prepare for a first-round playoff matchup against Ohio State on Saturday night.
This is the first practice that the media had been allowed to see since training camp but much of it looked routine to what we know from the past. The Vols went through warm-ups, conditioning, and some quick position drills on the indoor field before moving outside in the crisp Knoxville morning chill.
The media’s access was cut off as the team was moving outside, which isn’t too surprising with the stakes that are at hand this week.
Unlike training camp, though, Tennessee had several players dressed in black jerseys too simulate Ohio State. That made things tricky to decipher who certain players wore, but the starters were in their traditional orange and white jerseys.
