Tennessee assistant coach Rod Clark and sophomore forward Cade Phillips met with the media on Thursday afternoon in Knoxville.
The No. 1 Vols defeated Miami (FL) on Tuesday night in Madison Square Garden to improve to 9-0 on the season but have another solid challenge ahead this weekend. Tennessee will head north to take on Illinois in its own building on Saturday evening as the Vols look to keep their undefeated season alive.
Clark and Phillips both talked to the media for around 10 minutes, give or take, about their thoughts on the win over Miami and a quick preview of this Saturday’s big non-conference game.
