The early signing period comes to a close on Friday and it was a dramatic period both for Tennessee football and across the entire college football landscape.

Josh Heupel and his staff inked all but one players they previously had committed but that didn’t come without pause as David Sanders, the top player in the Vols’ recruiting class, did not officially sign until Thursday afternoon after flirting with Ohio State in recent weeks.

Tennessee flipped a pair of defenders, one that was committed to Southern Cal and another that was committed to Miami, while having two of its own commits flip to SEC schools in the days leading up to the signing period or in the signing period.

The Vols also landed a commitment from four-star defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell, one of the nation’s highest remaining uncommitted prospects, and the second highest rated member of Tennessee’s signing class.

So where does Tennessee football’s 2025 recruiting class rank compared to other schools? Taking a look here.
