Kickoff Time, Broadcast Details Set For Tennessee’s Regular Season Finale At Vanderbilt

The kickoff time and broadcast details are set for Tennessee football’s regular season finale against Vanderbilt in Nashville. Kickoff from First Bank Stadium in Nashville is at noon ET on ABC, the SEC announced on Monday afternoon.

Before the season, the SEC announced that this matchup would be in the noon ET to 2 p.m. ET kick off time slot but it wasn’t officially at noon ET until Monday.

Tennessee enters this weekend’s matchup against UTEP with an 8-2 (5-2 SEC) record and needs to win out in the regular season to keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive. The Vols are a pure bubble team right now and could use style points in their final two games of the regular season.

Before heading on the road to face Vanderbilt, Josh Heupel’s team hosts UTEP this weekend in its final home game of the 2024 season. UTEP enters the matchup with a 2-8 record (2-5 CUSA) but has played slightly better in recent weeks.

Vanderbilt is 6-4 (3-3 SEC) in what’s been a breakout season for Clark Lea’s program thanks in large part due to the addition to transfer quarterback Diego Pavia. The Commodores have wins over Alabama, Auburn and Kentucky. Ahead of its rivalry matchup against Tennessee, the Commodores are facing LSU (6-4, 3-3 SEC) this weekend in Baton Rouge.

Josh Heupel is 3-0 against Vanderbilt as Tennessee’s head coach with the Vols winning the three games by a total score of 149-45.

Other top SEC games on rivalry Saturday include Texas-Texas A&M at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC, South Carolina-Clemson at noon ET on ESPN and Alabama-Auburn at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
