No. 12 Tennessee (1-0) will hit the road this weekend to take on Louisville (1-0) at Noon ET in the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY.
The Vols found their first win of the season on Monday night with an 80-64 win over Gardner-Webb in Knoxville. Tennessee is still meshing together several new faces on the roster this season, but an 18-point debut from transfer guard Chaz Lanier was a positive sign for the Vols’ offense moving forward.
Louisville, on the other hand, looks like a much-improved team in the Pat Kelsey era. The Cardinals beat Morehead State 93-45 in their season-opening game on Monday night.
Both teams are optimistic heading into the game on Saturday afternoon but only one will prevail.
Tennessee assistant coach Rod Clark and senior guard Jahmai Mashack met with the media on Friday morning in Knoxville to preview the upcoming road contest for the team.
