The kickoff time and broadcast details are set for Tennessee football’s marquee matchup against Georgia. Kickoff is at Sanford Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET and ABC is broadcasting the game, the SEC announced on Monday.
It’s the fourth time that Tennessee has played in the ABC primetime this game with all four games away from Neyland Stadium. The Vols played in the time slot against NC State, Oklahoma and Arkansas earlier this season.
Before the season Tennessee-Georgia was flexed as either an afternoon or night game. With the winner of the game likely headed to the SEC Championship, it was a no doubter to put the game in the primetime slot.
Tennessee and Georgia are both in the thick of the College Football Playoff race and need to win out in the regular season to assure that they’ll make the expanded 12-team playoff this season.
