Tennessee football opened November by defeating Kentucky 28-18 and extending its winning streak to three games since its upset defeat at Arkansas.

Once again the Vols started slow offensively, scoring only seven points in the first half while turning the ball over in the red zone and missing a pair of field goals. Just like the Alabama game, Tennessee was close to putting things together offensively and having a strong performance but they were unable to execute at a high enough level to do so.

“We just we got to put all the pieces of the puzzle together to go play our best football,” Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel said postgame. “It’s never going to be perfect either. But again, excited about the win, but there’s a lot of things that we can improve upon.”

But in the second half, Tennessee’s defense forced a pair of crucial turnovers that its offense directly turned into points and then Nico Iamaleava and the Vols’ offense put together a 13-play, 93-yard touchdown drive to put the Wildcats away.

Following the game, RTI’s Ric Butler and Ryan Schumpert discussed another slow start, Iamaleava turning in a strong performance and much more. Check out the RTI Postgame Reaction here.
