Tennessee freshman running back Peyton Lewis punched in his first career touchdown during the second quarter against Kentucky on Saturday night in Knoxville.
Prior to the Kentucky game, Lewis racked up 118 yards on 17 carries in games against Chattanooga, NC State, and Kent State.
The Vols’ freshman back has 24 yards and one touchdown on eight carries in the first half against Kentucky.
Lewis punched in his one-yard touchdown with 4:45 left in the second half to tie the game at 7-7.

The Salem, VA, native garnered 14 rushing yards against Chattanooga, five against NC State, and 99 against Kent State.
Lewis was a four-star prospect and the No. 13 running back in the 2024 class.
Kentucky currently leads No. 7 Tennessee by a score of 10-7 at the halftime break. The Wildcats put up the game’s first touchdown with five minutes left in the first quarter, which was followed by Lewis’s one-yard score in the second quarter. Kentucky then retook the lead with a field goal in the closing seconds of the first half.
