Tennessee baseball took care of business in its first of two exhibition games this weekend, knocking off Western Kentucky 16-6 in a 14 inning exhibition at First Horizon Ballpark in Nashville.
The Vols mostly played starters for their first nine innings, where they won 8-4, before cycling in backups for the final five innings which they won 8-2.
Stars Andrew Fischer and Dean Curley each went deep while freshman Jay Abernathy had an impressive performance. Check out the game thread and box score here.
