No. 11 Tennessee pulled off a huge win over No. 7 Alabama on Saturday night in Knoxville.
The Vols trailed 7-0 at the halftime break but rattled off 24 second-half points to take the 24-17 win over the Crimson Tide.
Tennessee’s crowd flooded the playing surface after the game for a second consecutive field storming in a win over Alabama.
After the game was over and the smoke had cleared (for the most part), Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel led off the Vols’ media slate with a 15-minute press conference as he gave his reaction to the game. Heupel spoke about Tennessee’s resiliency in the second half, Nico Iamaleava’s performance, Dylan Sampson’s night, and much more.
Tennessee then sent two groups of players and one individual player to the press conference table after Heupel. The Vols’ first group included quarterback Nico Iamaleava and wide receivers Dont’e Thornton and Chris Brazzell. Tennessee’s second group was linebacker Arion Carter and safety Will Brooks while running back Dylan Sampson closed out the night with a solo press conference.
