Tennessee football announced its captains for its rivalry matchup against Florida on Friday afternoon. Linebacker Keenan Pili, center Cooper Mays, defensive tackle Omari Thomas and long snapper Matthew Salansky are the Vols’ captains against the Gators.

Thomas is a starting defensive tackle and the Florida game is his third serving as a captain this season. The super senior was also a captain against Chattanooga and Oklahoma.
Pili is a starting inside linebacker and leads the Vols with 28 tackles to this point in the season. The Florida game is Pili’s fourth game as a captain this season joining the Chattanooga, NC State and Oklahoma game.
Mays is Tennessee’s starting center and isn’t only the Vols’ top offensive lineman but one of the best centers in the entire country. The Florida game is the third time that Mays is a captain this season joining the NC State and Oklahoma game.
Salansky is Tennessee’s starting long snapper and has been a captain every single game this season.
Florida announced its three starters for the Tennessee game earlier this week: linebacker Derek Wingo, offensive tackle Austin Barber and defensive lineman Caleb Banks.
Kickoff between Tennessee and Florida is at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday night at Neyland Stadium. Bob Wischusen, Louis Riddick and Kris Budden are on the call for ESPN.
