It’s the first time that Tennessee has worn its orange pants with white jerseys this season but is the second time that the Vols have worn the orange britches. Tennessee is 1-0 in its smokey grey uniforms, 2-0 in its all white stormtrooper uniforms and 1-0 in its white helmets, orange jerseys and orange pants combination.
Both of Tennessee’s wins over power five opponents this season came away from home and they wore the all white uniforms. For its final road game before Georgia in mid-November, Tennessee is breaking out the orange pants with the white helmets.

Tennessee is 1-3 in its white helmets, white jerseys and orange pants uniform combination during Josh Heupel’s tenure as head coach. The Vols wore them in losses at Florida in 2021, at Georgia in 2022 and at Missouri in 2023. The Vols also wore them for the first ranked win of Heupel’s tenure at Kentucky in 2021.
Arkansas has yet to announce its uniforms for the primetime matchup but the Razorbacks typically wear red helmets, red jerseys and white pants at home.
Tennessee is currently 13.5-point favorites over Arkansas in the critical conference matchup according to DraftKings Sportsbook. The Vols are ranked fourth nationally while racing out to a 4-0 (1-0 SEC) start to the season. Arkansas is 3-2 (1-1 SEC) with narrow losses against Oklahoma State and Texas A&M as well as a victory over Auburn.
Kickoff at D.W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe are on the call for ABC.
