No. 6 Tennessee defeated No. 15 Oklahoma 25-15 in a Top 15 SEC clash from Norman, OK, on Saturday night.
Tennessee’s defense was dominant and stifling throughout the contest and even forced a quarterback change from the Sooners before halftime. The Vols’ defense continually gave Tennessee’s offense chances to score throughout the game and kept the Sooners out of the endzone for the vast majority of the game.
After the game, Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and several players spoke to the media to give their reactions to the game. Tennessee’s players included QB Nico Iamaleava, WR Dont’e Thornton, LB Arion Carter, and EDGE Joshua Josephs.
