No. 7 Tennessee defeated Kent State 71-0 on Saturday night in Neyland Stadium to move to 3-0 on the year.
While Saturday’s victory hardly caused Tennessee to break a sweat with a 65-0 halftime lead, the magnitude of next week’s SEC opening showdown against Oklahoma can’t be understated.
