Defensive end Chandavian Bradley is leaving the Tennessee program and enrolling at Hutchinson Community College ahead of the 2024 season, Parker Thune first reported and Bradley confirmed on X Wednesday afternoon.

A 6-foot-5, 221-pound edge rusher, Bradley redshirted his freshman season at Tennessee and didn’t play in any games. Bradley’s path to playing time was slim entering the 2024 season with the Vols returning their top outside linebackers including veterans James Pearce Jr. and Josh Josephs as well as talented rising sophomore Caleb Herring.

Bradley was a big time recruit coming out of high school where he picked Tennessee over South Carolina and Texas A&M. A consensus four-star recruit, Bradley ranked as the No. 136 player and No. 21 EDGE rusher in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings.
Hutchinson Community College is one of the top junior colleges in the country and has frequently produced top college players. Tennessee football has previously signed stars Cordarrelle Patterson and Alvin Kamara from Hutchinson.
Bradley is a Platte City, Missouri native and will be spending his second collegiate season much closer to home. Hutchinson Community College is just three and a half hours away from his hometown in the Kansas City suburbs.
