The Celtics followed up their 107-89 Game 1 win with a 105-98 victory Sunday night as guards Jrue Holiday and Jaylen Brown combined for 47 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.

Guards Jayson Tatum and Derrick White added 18 points apiece for Boston, which had more than enough to withstand Luka Doncic’s game-high 32 points and notch its ninth straight postseason win.

Led by Brown’s 21.5 points, five Celtics players are averaging 16-plus points in the series. That includes an impressive return for big man Kristaps Porzingis (16.0 points, 5.0 rebounds) who missed the previous two series with a calf injury.

The Western Conference-champion Mavs, meanwhile, have only one player — Doncic at 31.0 — averaging 16 or more points in the series.

Backcourt mate Kyrie Irving, who averaged 27 points on 49-percent shooting in the Western Conference finals, has seen those numbers drop to 14.0 points and 35.1-percent shooting so far vs. his former team.

Dallas also has had significant issues with turnovers (13.0 per game) and free-throw (65.1%) and 3-point shooting (24.5%) over the first two games.

The Mavericks figure to get a boost heading home, but Boston has been the league’s best road team this postseason, winning all six of their contests away from TD Garden.

Nonetheless, BetMGM had Dallas listed as a short 1.5-point (-130 moneyline) favorite in Game 3 as of Monday. The Celtics were catching +105 odds on the moneyline with the Game 3 total at 212.5 points.
