However, Boston also was the league’s best teams during the regular season, winning seven more games (64) than any other team and easily compiling the league’s best home record (37-4) and net rating (plus 11.7 — 4.4 points higher than No. 2 Oklahoma City).
Averaging a combined 51.6 points and 14 assists per game, Dallas guards Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving are a championship-worthy 1-2 punch.

Irving (22.8 points), and the Celtics’ top duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown — averaging 26.0 and 25.0 points, respectively, per contest this postseason — are, of course, the other top contenders in this category.
