More From RTI: Who Is Tennessee Football’s Most Important Incoming Player
Garrett has twice visited Tennessee, coming to Knoxville for the Vols’ matchups against Texas A&M and Georgia last fall. While Garrett is no stranger to Tennessee, he’s been to a number of other schools more often.
The four-star defensive lineman has visited the instate Bulldogs eight total times including four times this fall and again last month. Garrett has also twice visited both Alabama and Clemson but hasn’t yet visited Georgia Tech, Ole Miss or Southern Cal.
If Tennessee wants to become a major player in Garrett’s recruitment, they need to get him on campus more times this spring.
The Vols’ 2025 recruiting class currently contains six commits but none of them are currently from defensive linemen. Tennessee’s six-player recruiting class ranks No. 10 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
