Tennessee baseball head coach Tony Vitello and two players met with the media in Knoxville on Thursday morning with the start of the season just a few weeks away.
Vitello hit a number of topics on Thursday including the competition at shortstop, weekend rotation projections, and Tennessee’s catcher outlook, while also mentioning individual players such as Marcus Phillips, Robin Villeneuve, and Zane Denton.
In addition to Vitello, Tennessee also had first baseman Blake Burke and starting pitcher AJ Russell speak with the media as well.
