Tennessee football dropped its second game of the season at Alabama last week and now sits at 5-2 (2-2 SEC) ahead of this week’s late October showdown at Kentucky.
The Vols are one win away from gaining bowl eligibility and are looking to add more-and-more wins to improve their bowl bid.
With a strong close to the season Tennessee could climb as high as third or fourth in the SEC bowl pecking order. That would get the Vols back in a New Years Six Bowl for the second straight season but with two losses that’s unlikely. With a poor final five games of the season, the Vols could fall as low as eight in the SEC bowl pecking order.
The end result is likely somewhere in the middle and that’s where most put Tennessee in this week’s bowl projections.
From the ReliaQuest Bowl to the Music City Bowl, here’s where Tennessee lands in post week eight bowl projections.
