WATCH: Tennessee Commit Silences ‘Overrated’ Chants With Long Touchdown

The Cleveland High School student section was chanting “overrated” at Tennessee football commit and Bradley Central Standout Boo Carter on Friday night.

The chants didn’t last long. The blue-chip recruit silenced the “overrated” chants by getting behind the defense for a 69-yard touchdown catch and run. Check it out here.

Cleveland gave Bradley Central one of its tightest games this season, but Carter and the Bears outlasted Cleveland 36-26 to improve to 9-0 on the season. Bradley Central is looking to cap off an undefeated regular season on Friday when it hosts a strong Bearden team.

Carter committed to Tennessee over a top group including Colorado and Michigan in June and returned to Knoxville for the South Carolina game after visiting Colorado earlier in September.

The Chattanooga native ranks as a four-star recruit and the N0. 165 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. Carter also ranks as the fourth best prospect in the state of Tennessee.

Tennessee’s 2024 recruiting class ranks No. 11 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
