No. 17 Tennessee stumbled on the road again this season and blew a 13-point halftime lead to No. 11 Alabama, losing by a score of 34-20 on Saturday night in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Tennessee found momentum and success in the first half of play but was outmatched by Alabama during the final two quarters of play. The Volunteers failed to score a single point in the second half while Alabama exploded with 27 points of their own.
Following the conclusion of the game in Tuscaloosa, Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel spoke to the media about his thoughts on the game. Heupel touched on what went into the second-half collapse, his thoughts on quarterback Joe Milton, the thought process behind the fourth down calls, and more.
In addition to Heupel, Tennessee also had four players speak with the media on Saturday night: Joe Milton, Elijah Herring, Gabe Jeudy-Lally, and Squirrel White.
