Tennessee’s “.mp4” videos, for lack of a better term, have been a hit over the past few seasons.
After a big win every once in a while during the season, Tennessee will drop an internet-inspired troll video on their opponent featuring some laugh-out-loud memes from TV shows, movies, and viral moments on the web.
What a weird sentence to write, by the way.
I use the “.mp4” category because it has been the title of most of Tennessee’s troll videos so far. For example, there has been “spookymemevideo.mp4” after the Kentucky game, “orunjbowl.mp4” after the Clemson game, and “byeweekcontent.mp4” for the open date. All that being said – and not to contradict myself – Tennessee labeled the Texas A&M one “sensational..” on social media.
Tennessee fans immediately gravitated toward the recent video that was dropped on Wednesday night. The video has already garnered more than 620,000 views in the first 18 hours including an overnight stretch.
“Best content of all time I’m crying,” one Twitter user wrote.
“WHOEVER MAKES THESE MASTERPIECES NEEDS DOUBLE RAISES,” user Thomas emphatically wrote on social media.

Tennessee defeated Texas A&M by a score of 20-13 behind an uber-impressive performance from junior running back Jaylen Wright on the ground and a strong effort from James Pearce Jr. and the Vols’ defensive front seven.
The Vols will now look to a second-straight cross-divisional matchup this weekend against No. 11 Alabama in Tuscaloosa. That game will be played at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
