No. 19 Tennesee defeated Texas A&M by a score of 20-13 in a pivotal SEC cross-divisional matchup on Saturday evening in Knoxville. The Vols used a combination of stout defense and a wickedly strong running back to move past the Aggies and to a 5-1 record at this point in the season.
Following the conclusion of the game in Neyland Stadium, Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel spent a few moments with the media breaking down his thoughts on the game. Heupel spoke about the crowd’s impact on the game, what he saw out of Tennessee’s running game, his thoughts on Tennessee’s offensive output on Saturday, the importance of Dee Williams, and much more.
In addition to Heupel, Tennessee also had five players speak to the media on Saturday.
Those players included LB Aaron Beasley, PR Dee Williams, RB Jaylen Wright, DL Tyler Baron, and DB Gabe Jeudy-Lally.
