Tennessee has long targeted Hill as one of its top prep running back targets in the 2024 recruiting class. Hill ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 191 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Meridian native also ranks as the fifth best prospect in Mississippi and the No. 14 running back in the 2024 cycle.

Hill released his top three less than two weeks after taking an official visit to Tennessee for the Vols’ 41-20 victory over fellow contender South Carolina at Neyland Stadium. The 6-foot-1, 231-pound running back has taken four total visits to Tennessee including just two in 2023.
The blue-chip recruit has taken three total visits to South Carolina including a June official visit. But Hill has visited nowhere as often as he’s visited Alabama. Hill has made the 95-mile trek from Meridian to Tuscaloosa 14 total times during his recruitment and eight times alone this calendar year.
Tennessee’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains 20 commitments including one running back commit: four-star Virginia native Peyton Lewis.
The Vols’ 20 commit class ranks No. 9 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.

Can’t wait to see this dud in Checkerboard Orange. Of course, he’ll be on the bench so that all the upperclassmen can run out their eligibility.
