Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton III had the fans in the stands excited and had social media talking after a play in the second quarter against Virginia.
With just under six minutes left in the half and Tennessee near the end zone, Milton scrambled out to his left and encountered a Virginia defender before throwing him down with a stiff arm.
The Tennessee quarterback kept his momentum going forward to pick up a few extra yards on the play. Milton’s stiff arm was reminiscent of the stiff arms that Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry has made famous in this very stadium.

Tennessee would go on to finish that drive with a score thanks to a six-yard run from Dylan Sampson up the middle.
At the time of this publication, No. 12 Tennessee leads Virginia by a score of 21-3 at halftime.
Milton currently has 134 yards, one rushing touchdown, and one passing touchdown on 13-of-21 passing in this game.
