Bennett Warren’s Commitment Improves Tennessee’s Top 10 Recruiting Ranking

A commitment from four-star offensive tackle Bennett Warren (Sugar Land, TX) on Monday morning has bolstered Tennessee’s current spot in the Top 10 of the 2024 recruiting rankings.

Warren makes for Tennessee’s 19th total commit and the Vols’ second-highest commit in the class according to 247 Sports. The Texas offensive lineman only sits behind five-star wide receiver Mike Matthews, who Tennessee landed just less than two weeks before Bennett on Monday.

Tennessee was sitting right on the line of being a Top 10 recruiting class prior to Warren’s commitment. Two hours before to the commitment, Tennessee stood at No. 9 according to 247 Sports and On3 Sports and No. 10 according to Rivals.

Coming out of the commitment, though, the Vols have a little more breathing room with their Top 10 spot.

With Bennett Warren factored into the rankings, Tennessee now sits at No. 8 according to 247, No. 7 according to Rivals, and No. 6 according to On3 Sports. The Vols also jumped LSU in Rivals’ rankings despite the Tigers landing Tennessee target and cornerback Cai Bates on Friday afternoon.
